I also associate it with going to fun places like the beach or even public pools!
Yeah, my birthday is part of the reason I like the summer time, too. And I also love the beach, but also there's a carefree aspect to the summer that I don't quite feel any other time of year.

I love the summer time. My birthday is in the summer and I love the heat. It's beach and pool weather and I love wearing summer clothes without feeling a bit of cold. I hate cold weather so I am happy when it's summer time.
winter, because there's no pollen, and the cold isn't so bad.
